Liberty Financial Group Limited (ASX:LFG) today announced the appointment of Peeyush Gupta AM as a non-executive director.
Peeyush has over 40 years’ experience in the finance sector and was the co-founder and inaugural CEO of IPAC Securities, a firm providing financial advice and institutional portfolio management with operations in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong and South Africa. He has served as a Director of NAB, Link Market Services, Bank of NZ Life Insurance and Chairman of MLC Life and Wealth Management and State Super Financial Services. He has also served on a number of other boards and not for profit organisations.
Peeyush is currently a director of Cancer Council NSW, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, Dexus Funds Management Limited, Great Southern Bank, Northern Territory Aboriginal Investment Corporation, SBS and Quintessence Labs.

Richard Longes will not stand for re-election at the AGM in October and will retire from the Board following the Meeting. Richard joined the Board of Liberty in 2005.
