Liberty welcomes Grant Parker as Business Development Manager for Wellington and the mid-lower North Island, strengthening the non-bank’s adviser support.

Grant comes to Liberty with a strong background in business development and relationship management in the private and public sectors. His passion for helping others grow, and his unique skillset has helped him build a large network within the financial services industry.

With almost 15 years in business development and relationship manager roles within the insurance industry, Grant brings a fresh perspective to the role at Liberty. He has a proven track record in training and development, sales and building and nurturing successful relationships – not only in a professional sense, but with over a decade as a basketball coach within the community.

“Culture and communication are essential elements for success in any profession. I look forward to using my strengths in these areas to connect with advisers, better understand their business and goals, and help them grow.” Mr Parker said.

“Liberty has a reputation for being able to find solutions where others cannot, which aligns with my thirst for problem solving. I have a very analytical mind and love the challenge of finding the right solution.”

Liberty CEO Aaron Skilton said Grant’s appointment was a clear sign of confidence, growth, and continued dedication to the adviser community.

“We are thrilled to welcome Grant and bolster our adviser support with his extensive experience and community standing.”

“Liberty’s continued investment in growing our dedicated and local presence for advisers signifies our unwavering commitment to the mortgage industry. We strive to provide superior service that enables our advisers to help more people secure the finance they need to achieve their goals.”

Liberty General Manager Igor Stychinsky said the addition of Mr Parker to the team was a valuable injection of experience and knowledge to better serve more advisers and business partners.

“Our business development team continues to grow, and with this most recent appointment, we have never been better positioned to deliver exceptional service and free-thinking solutions for more customers," Mr Stychinsky said.
